The Front Bottoms, New Jersey's sensational indie rock artists are bringing their signature sounds to the Ogden Theater!
The Front Bottoms were formed in Woodcliff Lake (New Jersey) in 2006 by Brian Sella (vocals, guitar, and lyrics) and Mathew Uychich (drums). They recruited Mathew's brother Brian (keyboard and vocals) to complete the line up and went to work on their album. The band's been through a few line up changes over the years and it currently consists of Brian, Mathew, Tom Warren (bass, backing vocals), and Ciaran O'Donnell (guitar, trumpet, and keys). Their musical style is best described as a blend of indie rock (a genre of alternative rock that originated in the United States and the United Kingdom in the 1980s, encapsulating the genres chamber pop, indie pop, lo fi, math rock, neo psychedelia, post punk revival, sadcore, and shoegaze), pop punk (a fusion genre that typically combines fast punk rock tempos, power chord changes and loud, distorted electric guitars with pop influenced melodies and lyrical themes), and power pop (a style that draws its inspiration from 1960s British and American rock music and typically incorporates a combination of musical devices such as strong melodies, clear vocals and crisp vocal harmonies, economical arrangements, and prominent guitar riffs). They've had a stellar career with 6 studio albums, 6 extended plays, and 5 singles.
Don't miss your chance to see these artists add a unique touch to indie rock, pop punk, and power pop music!
