Manchester Orchestra, Georgia’s sensational indie rock and indie pop artists are bringing their signature sounds to the Ogden Theater!
The band was formed in Atlanta in 2004 and it currently consists of Andy Hull (lead vocals, rhythm guitar, and piano), Robert McDowell (lead guitar, keyboards, and vocals), Tim Very (drums and percussion), and Andy Prince (bass). Their musical style is best described as a blend of indie rock (a genre of alternative rock that originated in the United States and the United Kingdom in the 1980s, encapsulating the genres chamber pop, indie pop, lo fi, math rock, neo psychedelia, post punk revival, sadcore, and shoegazing) and indie pop (a subgenre of alternative/indie rock originating in the United Kingdom in the late 1970s and differing from indie rock to the extent that it’s more melodic, less abrasive, and relatively angst free). They’ve had a stellar career with 4 studio albums, 1 live album, 7 extended plays, 12 singles, 20 music videos, and 1 acoustic album. Their latest album (A Black Mile To The Surface) comes out on 28th July 2017. They’ve performed on many TV shows (Late Show with David Letterman, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel Live!) and at major music festivals such as festivals such as Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, Coachella, Riot Fest, Shaky Knees, Firefly, and Reading and Leeds.
Don't miss your chance to see these artists add a unique touch to indie pop and indie rock music!
